Keeping Grounded
The power of prayer never ceases to amaze me. Not only is it a time where you connect to God on such a deep and personal level, but it brings people together. I was at PRIDE4 Dance Competition and helping liaison to multiple teams before they got on stage. I wasn’t able to witness the actual performances, but of all things, I am so thankful that I got to witness prayer. Right before they went on stage, a lot of teams prayed. From dance crews ranging from 8-15 year olds to crews ranging from 18-24 year olds, it didn’t matter. Thanking God for guiding them, praying that their hearts be calmed, praying for strength, praying that God perform His will through them, praying that God would work His power through them that they may give glory to His name. It was a beautiful sight to witness.
